Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 4:30 a.m. in "The City."

I was outside with Ginger around 3:30 a.m. and the accuracy of the forecast from the NWS is astounding. The current temperature is 64° under fair skies. Today we expect a high of 85° under sunny skies. The sun will rise @ 7:37 a.m. and set @ 7:34 p.m.

I went to my internist for a checkup yesterday and the report was great. However, like many Americans, she says I need to shed a few pounds. Surprise.

I have an appointment with the orthopedist today for the last of my knee injections. Since I'll be at the hospital anyway, I'll also get the blood tests that my internist scheduled for me. These include all of the tests that Adam suggested and a few more too. This afternoon, I have another P/T session.

Mary discovered that there is an MD in Spring Lake who also does acupuncture. I have had good experiences in the past with these treatments so I think I'll give him a try for my baking yak. What I'm doing now isn't producing any great results. However, how long of a wait for an appointment is as yet unknown.

Speaking of Mary, she had her final appointment with the allergy doctor yesterday and learned what she already knew, that she is allergic to the great outdoors and a lot of indoor allergens. Well not exactly, but molds, grasses, many trees and some foods are on the list to be avoided. However, good news for me, she is not allergic to almonds and the foods related to them. So, almond milk is back on my menu as is almond butter.

All of my baseball teams return to action tonight.

NCIS returns tonight too. I can't wait.
