Good morning GH. Unlike usual, I am going to endeavor to keep it short.Current temperature in the Weather Center, 80 degrees. Outdoors, 68. No severe weather expected until about 1:00 PM. Sugar the Weather Dog still sound asleep.

Sunday activities: assembled new wheelbarrow, did some light concrete repairs at the entrance to the man-cave, watered the gardens, walked downtown after a brief...Tea time with a piece of toast with peanut butter, came home, sat on deck while the Weather Dog was in the "Bone Zone," had a light dinner, went upstairs, fell asleep. Not necessarily in that order.

Sports, boys in blue waste a good pitching performance, lose 3 - 4. Tigers lose 8 - 11, Red Sox win 5 - 1, now 10 games over 500, but still in second place. Caps beat Bowling Green Hot Rods, 5 - 1. Blackhawks play Red Wings tonight.

Today: breakfast, walk with Sugar to independent bookstore, read local newspaper, possible house cleaning, laundry, guitar, depending on precipitation; water gardens. All these in likely order. Ciao.
