Good morning GH. We show a current temperature of 59 degrees here in "The City." In the Weather Office it shows 74 on the digital display. In any event, it is very comfortable. The Weather Channel app claims a high of 78 today and no significant precipitation until Monday. More watering I guess.

On Thursday, we took that aforementioned road trip to pick up our framed puzzle. It looks great. Now all I will have to do is carry it around until Mary decides on which wall to hang it and where on that wall to place it. I can do the actual hanging.

We stopped in a couple of places in South Haven on our trip. Yeah I know, it was a long trip. One place had a great view of the drawbridge, while the other gives the appearance of being a dive biker bar. The second place has excellent food. Go figure. I also finished most of my outdoor painting on the entrance to the man-cave. I still have to get some paint to match the sides, but that requires some chips to check for a color match. That just requires ambition on my part.

I may have to pick up some new chew bones for Sugar the Weather Dog while I am out. She has used them all up and she "needs" more. In fact, when Mary and I were on our way out yesterday, Sugar planted herself against the back door in an effort to go out and chew more. It was pretty good communication on her part and way cute. Since I may go to the big box hardware store for some door stops and those paint chips that would also allow me to get Sugar her "needed" bones as they come from a store near the big box store.

Otherwise, not much on tap for the day. Mary has to work and I have to read and play more guitar. A reasonable division of labor. I also have to check on someone to re-glaze a couple of our windows. Adam is right, there are things that require a professional's touch. I've done it in the past and it can be a pain. I think the windows can wait for a few weeks. Oh, I need to call the accountant too.

Just an observation, but we must have the cleanest streets in the state judging by the number of times per week I heart the street sweeper go by.

In sports, the boys in blue were crushed by the Phillies 1 - 12. The Tigers continued their dominance over the Tribe 10 - 3, and that gives them a seven game lead over the Indians. Max Scherzer got his major league leading 17th win as the Tigers won their 12th straight. I am becoming a Tigers junkie. My beloved Red Sox fell to the Royals 1 - 5, but they still maintained a two game lead over the Rays. The Caps eked out a win over the Lugnuts 5 - 4.

So, time to return to bed and then get ready for...Tea time. Ciao.
