Good morning GH. Another day will soon be dawning as it has just passed 4:00 AM in "The City." The digital temperature gauge shows a current temperature of 67 degrees as we head for a high of 83 partly cloudy degrees. I think we had quite a blow last night judging by the overturned garbage cans in the street. Or, we had some strange vandals. Since my analog Weather Instruments were blown out of the partially open window, I am thinking we had a windy weather event. That and the fact that Sugar the Weather Dog desperately needed to get into her hide-e-hole last night, indicates that it was the weather. As I've said in the past, Sugar is a very accurate predictor of severe weather.

Yesterday as I predicted, I finished the highlighting for Mary. All in all, I think I put in about eight hours of manual labor. I also took time to water, which as the proverbial "they" say about hindsight, was 20/20. Mary and I went to the grocery store instead of Mary alone. Fortunately for us, Mary insisted that we eat something before we left so that we didn't over buy.

Otherwise, not much was happening. Unlike some folks, I don't have an unrequited desire to work more at this time. That may change, but somehow I doubt it. I keep busy with work for Mary, my hobbies, housework, and walking with Sugar the Weather Dog. I truly am blessed with an overabundance of good things.

Today not much on tap, just the way I like it. Breakfast, walk with Sugar, newspaper read, guitar practice, book read, relax. With the exception of walking with Sugar, no special order. Even Sugar isn't all that insistent about those walks.

In sports, the boys in blue managed to snatch another defeat from the jaws of victory, losing 6 - 11 to the Nationals. They are now last in their division and a full twenty games back of the front-running Pirates. Is the manager's job on the line? Or, was this the expectation for a team made up of rookies, and journeymen? The Tigers broke open the game with the Twins and won 7 - 1. That makes then 5.5 games ahead of  the Tribe in their division. My beloved Red Sox romped past the Giants 12 - 1. They are now back to a full one game lead over the Rays. The Caps got hammered by the Hot Rods 1 - 9 and they are now a full two games below 500 and 7.5 games behind in their division.

So that's about it. Ciao
