Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 2:30 a.m. in "The City."
Yesterday was a great day in oh so many ways. It was so nice in the morning, and in fact all day, that Mary and I took the morning walk to the waterfront with STWD. We all had a great time. When we got home, Mary made a great lunch of her now famous Coleslaw and Sloppy Joes that were made from rice, refried beans, and her now famous barbecue sauce. That's the sauce that can make nearly anything taste better.
I spent the day in my chair reading, watching the Bears trounce the St. Louis Rams 37 - 13 and the Lions slip by the Packers 18 - 16 in Lambeau Field, for the Lions first win there since 1991.
I finished my highlighting chores last evening, so now it's up to Mary to do the voodoo that she do so well and finish the index. The book, as advertised, was very interesting. I also started my own novel that I have been trying to get to for about one week.
As previously mentioned, the skies were sunny, and the clouds just dots in a high blue sky. Today is expected to be similar, with a high of 60°. Tuesday, the forecast calls for rain showers and a high of 58°. Same for Wednesday. Right now the temperature outside the WW is 52° as we drop to the overnight low of 44°.
Just a few plans for later today. I want to get the bicycle hooks installed in the garage and the bicycles hung up for the winter. I may find time to ride my bike today too after the morning walk with the intrepid one. I also have to wash and dry the comforter from our bed, so that will require a trip to the local laundromat due to the size of the comforter. The whole operation will take about two hours, so I'll take my novel for entertainment.
Other than that, not much to do. The sun will rise at 7:38 a.m and set at 5:20 p.m. Ciao.
