Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 3:00 a.m. in "The City."
A quick check out the WW tells/shows me what I already knew, it is cold and dark out there. Our current temperature is 32° which is the overnight low. Later today, after the sun rises at 7:31 a.m., we are supposed to see 59°. That same sun will set before the new moon takes over at 5:25 p.m. By Thursday, the temperatures will drop to a high of 52° with rain and possible T-storms.
We can expect to see trains again today on their every other day schedule.
Yesterday I found time to play with the girls for a while. STWD and I soloed on the morning walk due to Mary's chat schedule. The weather was perfect for walking and we enjoyed rustling through the leaves. Well Sugar did anyway.
When I got home I did some of the outdoor chores that I wanted to get done. That amounted to blowing and raking one bag of leaves. Then I came in and finished the indoor chores I had scheduled for myself. I was hungry by then and fortunately for me, Mary had planned ahead and made some faux tuna salad for a sandwich that I paired with some potato chips. She couldn't wait, so she had already prepared an alternate for herself. I think that was a good plan, as she had no way of knowing when I 'd be in from my chores.
We set out once again to visit the both the bank and Health Hutt before we stopped in at JWs. We also made a short visit to the local hobby purveyor to look at an R/C car that they had on display. It turned out to be a new version of an old car that wasn't highly prized by those in the know. Home once again, to await new episodes of NCIS and NCIS New Orleans. Mary wanted to listen to the GOP debate, but I was fine without.
Today, I plan to get some reading and some crosswords done. That will be enough for me. Mary also plans to go to the grocery store too. That means that I'll have to do can return duty. Somewhere in there, we'll take the morning safari and I hope to resolve my computer concerns if our IT guru is available.
The sun will set and so will I later in the evening. Ciao.
