Good morning GH. It is just past 11:00 a.m. in "The City."
The weather outside the WW is cold and there is snow on the ground. The current temperature is 30° as strive to reach today's high of 32°. Tomorrow, more snow is expected, starting overnight tonight and accumulating one to three inches. Fortunately, the temperature will rise to 40° tomorrow, so it should melt away. My original plan to finish my outdoor chores was to wait until Tuesday, so I'm still on track. Nuff said.
The sports report from yesterday was fantastic, at least for fans of Michigan college football. The Wolverines of Michigan defeated the Nittany Lions of Penn State, 28 - 16. Next up for the Wolverines, the Ohio State Buckeyes who were defeated by the MSU Spartans 17 - 14 on a last second field goal. The Spartans next play the Penn State Nittany Lions. The NIU Huskies play Tuesday night against the Ohio Bobcats. The Bears play the Broncos later today. The Lions also play later today against the Raiders. Is it possible that the Bears and the Lions may win two in a row? Stay tuned,
Today, I took the morning walk with STWD and then returned to do some indoor chores and some reading, Mary and I are going to the high school to see a matinee performance of Jekyll and Hyde, the musical. After that, no plans.
The sun rose at 7:45 a.m. and will set at 5:15 p.m., as we move inexorably toward the shortest day of the year in December, the winter solstice. Ciao.
