Good morning GH. It is just passing 7:30 a.m. in "The City." Sometimes a warm bed and a warmer wife are more appealing than getting out of bed and going to a cold office can be very appealing. So that's why I'm here now rather than earlier.
Train spotting should resume today, early, and then nothing until Monday.
The sun will be rising at 7:43 a.m., less than 10 minutes from now. Much like yesterday, it will be a windy day, so the morning safari will be short. No snow in the forecast until tomorrow. Even then, the forecast calls for our GH luck to keep accumulations down to less than one inch. Today's high, 41°. Tomorrow, 37°. It looks like winter will make a short visit, as temperatures warm to the mid 40° by T-giving.
Mary went to a meditation class at the library last night. I stayed home and finished the novel I was reading. Overall, I'd give it four out of five stars, as the author finished the story with a whimper rather than a bang. I think he was doing his usual "buy my next book" ending to see where this goes.
Today, I should get more of those outdoor chores done, but with the windy conditions, I may put them off for just before T-giving. Plus, I have another book to highlight for my boss. The pay is low, but I learn a lot.
Sports tomorrow will see the MSU Spartans @ Ohio State at 3:30 p.m. The Wolverines of Michigan will be @ Penn State to visit the Nittany Lions at 12:00 p.m. The Bears host the Denver Broncos at 1:00 p.m. EST on Sunday. With Peyton Manning out with a foot injury, the Bears will once again face a backup QB who will either be an easy sack, or the next coming of a QB who will be a one game flash in the pan. The Bear's next game will come T-giving night against the Packers at 8:30 p.m. EST.
That looks like enough for today. The sun will set at 5:16 p.m. on a busy day for me and Mary. She'll be indexing, chatting, and making meals for meditative purposes, while I am reading and highlighting. Hmmm, I like my prospects more. I may sneak in a few moments with the girls and at the puzzle table after the morning safari with STWD. Mary took the morning walk with me and the intrepid one yesterday as I journeyed to the doctor. They turned back for home due to the cold and windy conditions. Ciao.
