Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just after 6:00 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is 45° under clear skies. Winds of 10 mph make it feel like 39°. Today's high-temperature forecast of 52ยบ will be under mostly sunny skies and about the same as yesterday.

The sun rose this morning @ 6:29 a.m. and it will set later @ 8:53 p.m.

There will be a Freeze Watch in effect from tomorrow night into Saturday morning for portions of central, south-central, southwest and west-central Michigan. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Early season tender vegetation will need to be protected. The most vulnerable vegetation will be fruit trees that have already bloomed. You should take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Fortunately, my seedlings are still safely growing in the man-cave.

I slept through the morning southbound run of the train on the RSTL, but I was awake for the afternoon northbound run @ 2:10 p.m. I observed the regular contingent of MMRR locomotives 2025 and 2019 as they towed seven CHCs, 19 DBTCs, five DWTCs, and two LCFCs (Lumber Carrying Flat Cars),

Our Senior Staff Photographer took this photo of the Super Moon last night using our Smart Phone camera. I wanted to take a pic using my Olympus DSLR this morning, but by the time I got up, the trees were blocking my view.

Given the conditions, I think this pic turned out great!
However, I took that aforementioned pic of my completed cover for my traveling music folio.

In their temporary and nighttime home.
Mary made our lunch yesterday using the last of my vegan Italian sausages accompanied by a side salad.

She worked very hard on our dinner, crafting a simmered pasta sauce that when combined with my vegan Italian meatballs and atop some spaghetti noodles became a delicious meal. The fur-children, especially Ginger, were excited that they got some of the uncooked spaghetti noodles. STWD doesn't care, but Ginger doesn't like chickpea-based pasta of any kind. She is particular.

We ate our dinner watching another episode of Outlander. I had to have Mary explain some of the time-travel nuances to me, as she is more attuned to them. That's okay, as I am still enjoying the show.

I was in a writing frenzy yesterday. I just had to get my thoughts down on paper, well actually in the memory of my word processing program, and so I typed ferociously to get the climax finished and now I am on to the denouement. I may get my manuscript finished soon. I've only been working on it for over a decade.

I wanted to share the following selection from YouTube™ of Wayne Faust's tribute to his late mother, entitled This Old Piano. I think it is very well done and very moving.

Today should be much slower, I never got to that dusting and vacuuming, but maybe today. Ciao.
