Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation, and perhaps, across the world. It is just after 5:30 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is 42° under mostly clear skies. Winds of 9 mph make it feel like 36°. Today's high-temperature forecast calls for 49ยบ under mostly sunny skies.

The sun will rise this morning @ 6:23 a.m. and it will set later @ 8:59 p.m.

There is a Freeze Warning in effect until 9:00 a.m. this morning away from the "Big Lake." Tha't not here in GH.

We had a pedestrian day yesterday. I tried, in vain, to repair the electronic ignition on one burner of our stove. When we feel safe calling the appliance repairman, we'll do so. As of now, this one single burner seems to work when it feels the urge, so we'll make do.

In addition, we unwrapped those aforementioned packages. I began the set-up sequence for my new outdoor weather station, this one with an extra sensor, thermometer (I now have one sensor for the deck, and the other for the front porch). I should be able to finish that project today.

I started the editing of my manuscript, with some assistance/suggestions from Mary. It is hard work, almost harder than the writing itself.

Otherwise, we sat around, read, ordered a grocery pick up for today, took a walk with the fur-children, and ate a dinner that was several days in the making. It was based on chickpeas that had soaked for two days or so. Naturally, I liked it because it was soup. Mary had to make some subtle changes in the recipe, due to locally available ingredients, but that didn't seem to be a negative.

We ate while watching another episode of Outlander.

All good with some editing.
Today. I'll finish that weather station set up and do more editing. I'll get to the transplanting ow that I have my fertilizer. I want to play more music too. Mary will be making that grocery pick up this afternoon. Ciao.
