Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation, and perhaps, across the world. It is just after 3:30 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is38º under clear skies. Winds of 4 mph make it feel like 35°. Today's high-temperature forecast calls for 60º under mostly sunny skies.

The sun will rise this morning @ 6:22 a.m. and it will set later @ 9:00 p.m.

There is a Freeze Warning in effect until 9:00 a.m. this morning away from the "Big Lake." Portions of central, south-central, southwest and west-central Michigan will be affected. Temperatures below freezing will damage tender vegetation. Gardeners should take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Fortunately, that's not here in GH.

Thursday's forecast calls for the high-temperature to only reach 57º, with a 100% chance for
T-storms. After Thursday, the temperatures are expected to remain in the 60s and above from now on.

I made a gallon of fertilizer for my seedlings and then gave them a drink of the hi-test water. Here's hoping that it makes their journey to adulthood go faster.

We collectively drove to the grocery store yesterday afternoon. We both wore our masks, as did the people at the grocery store Fast Lane™ service. We got most everything we had ordered.

Before we left, I asked our Senior Staff Photographer to take a picture of that flower that Mary thought was a small tulip but I didn't. Now that it is fully open, neither of us has any idea.

Any ideas my loyal readers?
I spent some time in the front yard and the back-forty digging dandelions yesterday before they could infest my vegetable garden later this month. It is a constant battle.

After I came in from that adventure, we embarked on adventure #2, a battle with Ginger over taking a bath. We won. However, as a terrier, she has curly hair that was made even more curly by the bath, so it took her a long time to get completely dry. I also Furminated STWD.

We spent a few minutes working the weekend crossword puzzle, but it is far from complete.

I am still in the process of editing my manuscript. I have found a few places where I doubled my references, what some call continuity issues, references to places on pages that are far apart. So, I have to resolve those issues as I go along. That may take some serious effort.

Today, just a few things to accomplish. I need to install the outdoor sensors for my new weather station and pack the previous weather station for donation to Goodwill™.

I also have plans to do some kitchen activities today too. I was going to make some vegetable bullion earlier, but the recipe I found in our personal cookbook seemed unfamiliar. I stopped after just one ingredient. I have to await Mary's guidance before I continue.

Otherwise, the day should be relatively quiet. Ciao.
