Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just before 4:30 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is 38° under clear skies. Winds of 3 mph make it feel like 38°. Today's high-temperature forecast from the NWS calls for a high of 52º, under mostly sunny skies. Today's temperature will be 6º warmer than yesterday.

The sun will rise today @ 6:37 a.m. and set later @ 8:46 p.m.

There are no Advisories, Watches, nor Warnings in the current forecast.

Yesterday was another of those pedestrian days. I answered some email, I assisted in the completion of some indoor chores, I made some vegan Italian sausages and finished a crossword puzzle.

Mary made lunch using a few of my now world-famous vegan Italian meatballs accompanied by my Coleslaw.

Dinner followed another episode of Outlander during what has become our evening watch session. In this case, two of my vegan Italian sausages with sauteed green pepper and tomato sauce served with some mashed potatoes. What's not to like?

I liked it!
We followed dinner by watching Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer during a TV Townhall presentation. She answered questions posed by state residents regarding the status of the shutdown and plans to gradually ease into the reopening of businesses throughout our state.

I have no comment on the lunacy that occurred in our state capitol of Lansing yesterday, other than to say it was, lunacy. We'll be staying away from people who can't accept reality. Nuff said!

I checked in on Facebook™ yesterday to find that Kerry Fitzgerald had posted another of her terrific coloring efforts. She is great. Here is a copy of her efforts from Facebook™. Mary and I are trying, but to us, Kerry is the "Gold Standard" for coloring.

This is Kerry's rendering of a Hoopoe, a bird native to Africa, Asia, and very prevalent in Europe.
Today, I hope to spend more time reading, writing, coloring, and playing music.

Mary hopes to color, read, and get outside for a walk, I assume with the fur-children. We should be wearing our facial coverings so that we can avoid any contamination.

Otherwise, it is time for the fur-children to receive their monthly medications. They like those because of their chewy texture and a great taste, at least by canine standards. Don't bother trying to get them to take medications that taste like medications, because it becomes a wrestling match in which we go two out of three falls and they win.

I'd like to add this video from YouTube™ that features Wayne Faust playing the piano and singing his composition, This Old Piano. Wayne has been offering what he is calling Livingroom Concerts the last few Friday nights. Here at the manse, we appreciate the effort he's been putting into these musical interludes during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a bit of luck, I should be in front of the TV in the media room to catch another concert tonight.

Otherwise, we have no specific plans and that's fine with me. Ciao.
