Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just after 6:00 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is 40° under clear skies. Winds of 910mph make it feel like 33°. Today's high-temperature forecast of 50º, under mostly sunny skies, will be about 10º cooler than yesterday. There is no chance. for precipitation today.

The sun will rise today @ 6:33 a.m. and set later @ 8:50 p.m.

In spite of the stay at home requirement/necessity, we had a great time here at the manse just sitting on our deck. We had our regular morning ritual with the fur-children and ate a brunch of salad and vegan Italian sausages. We also took the time to make a pair of extraordinary beests too.

We spent our time on the deck reading and both I and our Senior Staff Photographer took some pictures with my Olympus DSLR camera of the flora and fauna. Just because, I'll include some randomly chosen shots here.

Yours truly, sporting his beloved Red Sox™ hat, as taken by our Senior Staff Photographer.
A short-lived dandelion in the shared driveway. I got the entire taproot when I pulled it.
The sun behind the clouds.
A closeup of a flower on our azalea bush.
A different angle, another flower.
Our ivy produces some interesting flowers in the early spring.
When you are in the backyard, you have to get a shot of the only nearby barn.
If I ever get a good photoshop type program, this would be a great tree shot without the wires.
And, if it ever gets consistently warm, there will be flowers in the bucket, not just a shovel.
The ferns are once again reemerging in the vast gardens this spring.
I'm not sure of the name of this flower, but I  like this closeup view.
Also not sure of the name, but a good subject of a reemerging plant in the vast gardens.
A random sun shot.
A bird visited and left a souvenir.
STWD.
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but hope springs eternal that baseball will return. Until then, we'll have to make do with our Cubs™ whirligig. Here's to you, John and Deb!
Before dinner last night, we did some coloring and I played some music. We also watched another episode of Outlander. I'm still mesmerized by the storyline.

Today, we hope to do as little as possible, as if we have a real choice. We are concerned that the lifting of the stay at home order will come back to haunt us here in West Michigan and all over the US, as money and the economy trump common sense. One scenario I saw predicts that in the summer months, we might see 1,000 deaths/day from the COVID-19 virus across the country!

We like our waterfront as much or more than the next people, but we like our lives even more. Fortunately, we don't have to go out into the world any more than necessary. Those early prognostications about young people not having to worry about the COVID-19 virus are going to come back to haunt us. Ciao.
