The weather forecast from the NWS has changed since my last blog. Today we have a forecast for T-storms, mostly in the afternoon, of 55%. STWD and I should be fine for our morning safari. The peak activity is called for at about 3:00 p.m. However, I also have an appointment at the car dealer in Holland at 1:00 p.m. to have a warranty/recall repair done. I may go alone, or Mary may come along, but neither of us likes to drive in the rain, so I may have to cancel. Like Mary often says, that's a game time decision.
In sports, the day was an incomplete success for my teams. The boys in blue may have become the men in blue, with their sweep of the Giants. They won with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth as they held onto their slim lead of 2 - 0. I used to worry in the days of yore, but this time, the bullpen held. The Tigers were defeated by my beloved Red Sox by a score of 2 - 7. Since I had two horses in that race so to speak, it was all good. The Caps won 6 - 3 over the Kane County, IL Cougars.
I did get out and water yesterday morning, so that should ensure the rains coming today. Once again, I'll wait for STWD's forecast.
I'm always talking about the girls, so I thought I'd include a recent picture of them. Left to right, are Abby, Ivy, and Blue.
Earlier today, Mary drove and I rode along, on a trip to GR to see the next to last outdoor antiques market held at the site of the GR indoor market. On Saturdays, the farmer's market is held indoors and out throughout the year. The antique sales are held once a month in the summer on Sundaays. We checked out everything they had to sell and some of the things were very artistically creative, while others were way overpriced. Pictures of the market and Mary's find, are pictured below.

Otherwise, not much time for anything else. The sun will rise at 6:44 a.m. and set at 8:54 p.m. Ciao.
