Good morning GH. It is just past 10:30 a.m. in "The City."
I'm going to keep this one short and sweet, because there is just too much sun in the sky and I want to get out and enjoy it.
The sun rose at 6:39 this morning and will set later under a waning gibbous moon at 9:01 p.m. The high temperature today is expected to be 80° and that appears to be the case for several more days. No precipitation is in the forecast from the NWS or STWD.
In sports yesterday, the boys in blue easily handled the Pirates 5 - 0. The Tigers didn't fare as well, as they lost to the Royals, 1 - 5. My beloved Red Sox were drubbed by the Yankees, 3 - 13. The Caps were winners over the Clinton, IA Lumber Kings, 5 - 4. If you are keeping a scorecard, that's going two for four, or .500.
Otherwise, I spent time in the kitchen cooking soup. It smelled great and I'll partake today. That was about it. The intrepid weather dog and I took the morning walk through the mostly quiet streets of GH to the newspaper office. That netted us the Tuesday edition of the Grand Haven Tribune so that I could catch up on what's happening and then work the crossword. I haven't gotten to that yet, so that is part of my activities later today.
Today, STWD and I will journey to the newspaper office once again, before I go to the driving range. I have to water the gardens of the PE too, but that is necessary when you want fresh vegetables.
That looks like enough for one day. Ciao.
