Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 5:45 a.m. in "The City."

I'm going to once again follow the KISS formula and try my best to get this blog done in record time.

We have a current temperature of 61° under partly-cloudy skies. Those skies will prevail today as we reach a high temperature of 81° with slightly lower humidity. The sun will rise @ 6:04 a.m. and set later tonight @ 9:26 p.m.

Baseball news yesterday was all good.

The Cubs were off until tonight, when they travel to St. Louis for a game against their division rivals, the Cardinals @ 8:15 p.m. on national TV.

My beloved Red Sox are still in 2nd place, but they won their game yesterday as David Price had great stuff and with some help off the bat of the X-man, Xander Bogaerts, they won over the Mariners, 2 - 1. The Sox and the Mariners play again tonight @ 10:10 p.m. EDT.

The Tigers were also victorious as they defeated the Twins, 3 - 1, with JaCoby Jones getting a dinger to seal the win. The Tigers will be in Chicago to meet that other team tonight @ 8:10 p.m.

Even the WhiteCaps managed to halt their losing streak with a win over the Loons, 9 - 6. The Caps are home tonight to play Mary's sentimental favorites, the Dayton Dragons @ 7:05 p.m.

The landscape designer came by yesterday morning and he will have a a design ready in about one week.

John was here late yesterday and the master suite looks terrific.

We traveled to Newaygo yesterday just because that's the location of Mary's favorite yarn shop, The New Ewe. Mary purchased some yarn for a project for herself and me, but could not get mine, "On the needles", because surprisingly, she doesn't have that size of circular needle in her collection. It must be the only size she is missing, that is until the next time.

We swung past The Camera Store in Muskegon on our way home where I got a longer cord for attaching our camera to my computer for downloading of pictures. In addition, we had Justin at the store download that Jack on the bench picture for printing. We picked up a frame for the picture @ Love in Action, the resale store in Spring Lake.

Today, we await the arrival of Mary's brother, Ed, before he travels to TX for his new home near his daughter. It will be nice to see him before he goes.

Otherwise, not much is happening @ the PE and that's fine by me. Ciao.
