Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is fast closing on 5:00 a.m. in "The City."

I missed all the train activity last night and earlier this morning, so no trainspotting report.

The view out the WW is the same as yesterday, dark.

STWD is sleeping downstairs on her couch, so an imminent threat of a significant weather event is highly unlikely.

Yesterday, my day was filled with highlighting and walking with STWD. Mary had gone out earlier to go to the library to pick up a cookbook that was on hold. She likes this cookbook so much, that she ordered one for her personal collection at the local independent bookseller..

I found some music that I liked while surfing the net yesterday afternoon. I'll be going back to that site often.

I mowed the lawns of the palatial estate after I got back with STWD. It took about 45 minutes start to finish.

I watered the vegetable plants as I emptied the dehumidifier. I figured that the water was as good as any that comes out of a hose, maybe better, because it is somewhat distilled. by the dehumidifying process. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

In sports, the boys in blue slipped past the Padres, 3 - 2. The Tigers, on the strength of Miguel Cabrera's 400th home run dropped the Brewers 5 - 2. My beloved Red Sox fell to the Rangetrs, 1 - 2. The Caps were drubbed by the Hot Rods, 2 - 9. Such are the vagaries of life in the A levels of baseball. It's not called a developmental league for nothing. The Blackhawks go again tonight, after defeating the Anaheim Ducks 3 - 2 in a lengthy overtime on Tuesday. That turned out to be a long game.

Today, I am going to the doctor for a regular check. Nothing of import, so that's all good.

Mary has more work to do, so I'll be going on my own. That's okay, because I think I can find my way without any assistance by now.

The sun will rise at 6:15 a.m. on a mostly sunny day. No precipitation is in the forecast for a day that is currently 43°, but which will rise to 63° by the time I'm off to the doctor. Ciao.
