Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 4:30 a.m. in "The City."
I'm going to keep this short and sweet as I am still a bit under the weather. I am feeling better, thanks in large measure to Mary's ministrations, but I'm not 100% yet. I'm still on the tired side of this bug.
I used some energy reserves last evening to go to a presentation at the library regarding the WWII Flying Tigers. It was interesting and that's all I have to say about that.
I did hear the trains go by last night and earlier this morning. With my intimate knowledge of all things train in GH, I know that these were short, mostly unladen trains. Once again, that's all I have to say about that.
In sports, the boys and my beloved Red Sox had the day off. The Tigers were pounded by the K.C. Royals, 1 - 8. The Caps were also defeated once again by the South Bend Cubs, 3 - 6. The Bulls blew out the Bucks, 120 - 66. The Blackhawks are set to play the Wild, having gotten past the Predators. The next series starts on Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
The sun will rise at 6:38 a.m. on a sunny day with a high if 60°. Later the sun will set at 8:45 p.m. Ciao.
