Good morning GH. Is just past 12:30 PM in "The City." It is currently 23° with light snow falling. We expect the same thing tomorrow. Sugar the Weather Dog, and her walker, went for a brisk walk this morning. Sugar, of course, had a great time in the snow. Sugar's walker said that it was not windy when she was walking over, but when she and Sugar were coming back, it had gotten windier. The rest of the day should be about the same.


I'm using my speech recognition software right now. It is mostly working well, but sometimes my diction gets in the way. The more I can teach it, the better it will work.


I spent last night in the chair, again. I was able to lay in the bed earlier yesterday, but I just felt more comfortable in the chair last night. Maybe tonight I can extend the bed stay. If not, there's always the chair again.


Mary made breakfast this morning using veggie chorizo, and farm fresh eggs. She also made tortillas as a side dish. I liked it!


We watched UP with Krystal Ball substituting for Steve Kornacki this morning. What they were discussing mirrors the book, Mary and I are reading together. After that, we followed with MHP with Melissa Harris-Perry. The discussion on that show was also very enlightening. Now I'm waiting for football to start. Not college, but on Sundays, Pro football will have to do.


It's always amazing to me to see grown men on the pregame shows get so excited over what is a highly paid group of young men playing a kid's game. That may be capitalism at its very best.


In overall news about my health, I'm feeling better every day. As the doctor said, it will just take time. My next appointment is on Wednesday, when the doctor will be removing the external stitches. I plan asking at that time if there's any damage I can do just by normal activity. I know I can't do any lifting with my right arm, and that I have a lot of physical therapy to do, but I'm more worried about sleeping and causing a problem with that.



That looks like about enough for yesterday and today. My morning… Tea time was excellent. Sugar the Weather Dog is currently sleeping on the couch. She seems to do that better than almost anything. But she did have a busy morning. She ate her breakfast, walked, and then had a biscuit when she got home. That's enough to wear any dog out. Ciao.
