Good afternoon, GH is just past 2:00 PM here in "The City." It is 23° with a light snow falling. By the time the snow advisory is lifted later tonight, we anticipate an additional three inches. We are under a winter weather advisory until then. Sugar the Weather Dog has already had her daily walk, and so she is asleep at my feet.

Mary had planned to go to the mall tomorrow, so that I could do some walking indoors, but if the snow prediction for tomorrow is right, that won't happen either. I would've had the chance to be a mall zombie.

Today, not much is happening. I got a holiday card from a former colleague and current friend, who used to teach Spanish at the middle school where I taught. I wished her a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in Spanish. I hope I got it right because she wasn't here to correct me. That's something she used to do.

Mary has gone back to work on her index. She made her now famous sauerkraut sandwiches for lunch, and later she crafted a casserole that was loosely based on to the casserole. I liked it. In this case, it has nothing to do with meals being a high point of my day.

This morning I got my hair washed and I feel much better. Sleeping in a chair for many nights, you begin to look for any distraction. Now I'm here at my computer, re-creating this blog. I decided I didn't like the way the old one turned out, so I'm trying again.

Earlier this morning, I heard the train go by. In this case, I could see through the leafless trees, which allowed me to see two locomotives, towing many boxcars, and covered hopper cars. You have to take your excitement where you can get it.
That looks like about it for today and yesterday. I had two cups of tea for… Tea time this morning. Today and tomorrow look like it will be all about snow. That's not a bad thing when you don't go out. However, I wouldn't mind getting to the mall for that walk.

I'd like to mention that we also got a holiday card from one of our old neighbors. She noted that she would be moving soon. She also gave a sad news, her mother passed away, not too long ago. Our old neighbor is a good soul, and I hope things work out for her. Ciao.
