Good morning GH. It is just past 1:00 AM in "The City," and the current temperature is 19 degrees with light snow. Later today, we are expecting an additional one inch of the white stuff. Sugar the Weather Dog will be out with her walker when that is happening. I know that she will love it. Sunrise will be at 8:10 AM. Our high today will be only 23 degrees. On Tuesday, we may see an additional one to three inches of snow. Only time will tell. However, it the Weather Channel app is to be believed, the high temperature will be 31 with that same amount of snow expected. Wednesday is expected to warm up to 32 and Thursday up to 36 degrees, albeit with freezing drizzle. I love using albeit in a sentence.
I am currently using the keyboard, because in spite of my limited typing skills, I didn't like the way the speech recognition software interfaced with this blog. I will just take my time.
Mary and I are working our way through a book about the possible economic crash of 2016. The author makes some good points, but like all writers, he too has a bias. Since I plan to be around in 2016, I will get a chance to find out whether his prediction comes true. Too often, the people in the business of predicting the future disappear before they have to take credit for their work, whether right or wrong. Mostly they come around to take credit for being right, but are hard to find if they are wrong. Oh well, that's human nature.
Today I don't have any plans. Some additional reading, some television. The Lions are on Monday Night Football. By the by, the Bears managed to outlast the Browns, 38 - 31.
Mary has an index to finish, and I promised to help with the final edit in the afternoon. Of course, there is the requisite breakfast of Cheerios and cut up apples. Lunch will probably be whatever strikes Mary's fancy in the kitchen. Dinner, maybe pasta noodles with an olive oil/tomato sauce. That would be my preference, but that may depend on our finishing that index.
Mary already has the cups set for...Tea time, and that is something that I always look forward to. I was in bed for awhile tonight/this morning, but my shoulder still aches too much to stay for long. So, Sugar and I are back in our regular places this early morning, the couch and chair in the living room. I don't anticipate any trains this morning, but one never knows. Normally, I would have heard one by now if it was coming. Tha, tha tha, that's all folks. Ciao.
