Good morning GH. It is just past 11 AM in "The City"
and the temperature is 29° under cloudy skies.
The forecast for today is light snow and continued cold. Sugar, the Weather Dog had her morning walk
and she loves it in the snow. Afterwards,
Mary asked if there would be anyone that Sugar's dog walker knew who does snow
blowing. She said she might know someone
and would get back to us.
Mary checked my
incisions today and they all look good.
Now it’s just a matter of waiting for my body to heal. That will be at least six to eight
weeks. Oh well, that's the way life is
some days. That means that once Mary has
gone to the library today, I'll have some new books to read and more TV to
watch. Oh joy!
We had quite a bit of
snow last night, and so the television stations were warning us to not be on
the roads. Sounds like good advice to
me. Since I can't walk and I can't drive
I have no need to go out.
If you're interested,
Mary probably won't make the library today.
Her computer is giving her fits.
She thinks it's because she doesn't turn it off enough times, or often
enough. So now she is rebooting it. And they said the computers and make life
easier. What did they say “To err is human;
to really screw up takes a computer.”
I hope everything is going well for
Ellen and Barb. I wish them well as a
fellow convalescent. No trains today or last
night. I guess that means that I was right.
They will not be back until later tonight or early Tuesday morning.
So now it's back to my chair to do some
crossword puzzles and watch television. These are the times when I wish I could play guitar. That will have to wait until my arm is
better. Ciao.
