Good late evening GH.  I didn't get much accomplished today, but I did manage to get the CD ordered that Adam recommended.  The view out the Weather Window is dark, but that is to be expected at this late hour.  Currently, the desktop temperature is a balmy 38 degrees.  That exceeds the expected high for Sunday.  We are anticipating highs in the lower 40s by mid-week.

Mary and I visited a nice little consignment shop in Muskegon this afternoon.  We like it, not because we come away with much, but because the people who run the shop are not married to their merchandise.  That means that things are priced reasonably and the selection is eclectic. We came away with a small container for Mary's earrings and a couple of ornaments for next year's Christmas tree.  All in all, a good trip.  Sometimes, you don't have to spend much to get a lot.

Sugar the Weather Dog is still sleeping beside the bed, but that is her choice as of this time.  We tried moving her bed where she is now laying, but all she did was to go and sleep on the other side of the bed.  Go figure.

Otherwise, our former state is still playing with the pension system for state retirees.  It seems, that the fund is nearly one-hundred billion dollars underfunded.  Gosh, I wonder how that happened?  Their current plan is to have the plan change to accommodate their negligence.  Hard to believe that politicians outside the Washington, D.C. beltway could be incompetent, but alas, it turns out to be true.   Stay tuned for further developments.

I hope that Steph and Adam had a good visit to the restaurant to listen to the music that Adam recommended.  Their original plan fell through, so they had to change venues.  Life can be so cruel.

So, until I have more to say, that's all for now.  Ciao.
