Good afternoon GH.  Just finished our second walk, in search of a tear off calendar, but alas, the local stores have none we like.  Oh well, we tried.

Currently, the temperature reading on the desktop is showing 29 degrees.  We are still snow covered, and there was a light dusting of snow this AM, so there is ice hidden underneath.  No biggie, you just have to be careful.  Sugar the Weather Dog went along on both walks, and she absolutely loves the snow.  She loved it when she first came into our family, and that hasn't changed.  I guess it was her first love as a puppy.

I have to return my new glasses for an adjustment to the size.  I can see much better with them,  but the frames are not wide enough, nor the ear pieces long enough.  My bad, because, I didn't provide the correct measurements when I ordered.  Once I get it right, I'll be set to go, at a fraction of the cost.  A learning curve on my part.

Congratulations to Steph.  It is now official; she assumes her new job duties on February 1.  I feel proud of her, for both pursuing her goal and then achieving it.  Ah, to be young again.  Well, not really, because being young has its own set of challenges.  But, I know she is up to them.  Her birthday is coming up, and I know that she and Adam will be celebrating.  Ah, once again to be young.  One again, not really.

Otherwise, I am off to the library later for a session with my student.  We have missed a few sessions due to illness, so I hope we can get back on track.
