What was it that the late Mel Allen used to say?  Oh yeah, "How about that!"  It was like Harry Caray's Holy Cow!, or Jack Brickhouse saying "Hey! Hey!"  Anyway, I think that any of those things could apply to life here in west Michigan.  We are having another snow event here; started yesterday and is still going on.  I never expected to get past the winter months without snow, so I am not at all unhappy, especially since I have nowhere to go and lots of time to get there.  I did get to the Y yesterday, and this time the pool was not filled with kids.  I love em, I just don't want to share my pool time and space.  Call me greedy, but that's how it is.  Still haven't gotten my new shoes, according to the orthotist, they are on back-order for at least two more weeks.  It has already been four, and I am just feeling a little impatient, that's all.  Need to go to the library to pick up some new books I ordered.  Had to return some that I didn't have time to read.  See what I mean about being busy?  I feel like I am getting my head above water now, since I don't have any doctor's appointments for two months.   That feels good.  Oh well, time for a little TV viewing and chair time in the media room.  In addition, it's tea time.
