We have lift off!  At the risk of sounding like NASA, I am going to use their catch phrase to describe the  arrival of the third part for the washing machine.  Before this one, I would have used "Houston, we have a problem."   Of course, even this one wasn't without drama, as the robocall came in yesterday saying that we had to reschedule the appointment.  This, of course, sent us over the edge, since we have been waiting two weeks for this to get done.  Fortunately, it was just a ploy to find out if the part had arrived.  We are still on for Friday.  Whew!  Had my third knee treatment yesterday and they are feeling  much better.  However, the immediate after effects are never pleasant.   Sometimes I truly understand the idea of no pain, no gain.  Today, I want to get my next set of blood tests out of the way, get the oil changed on the car and go to the Y to swim. I also need to drop of some books at the library and walk Sugar before all that happens.  See what I mean about being too busy to breathe.   A short mention of the activity at the Historical museum the other night.  While not long, I did learn as I had hoped, and that was the point.  Got our free garbage can the other day along with our free light bulbs. I love free things just for being new to the neighborhood, and so my free oil change today should cap it off nicely.  Oh well, time to move along.  Later.
