Sometime I get to thinking that it doesn't change in GH very much, at least weather wise. I know that's silly, especially since this has been an abnormal winter, but each day usually starts with sunshine or cloudiness. Or, it may or may not be raining, and we may or may not have snow on the ground. When you are retired, the days take on a certain sameness and predictability. Not that that is necessarily bad, and I bet there are a lot of people who would love for that to be their lot in life. Today, I have a lot of editing work to do. I also need to read the NY Times, after I retrieve it from the book store, read my library books, work on my novel, and listen to some morning news programs. See what I mean about not having enough time? Sugar will need her usual amount of attention, some days more, some days less, but always in need of contact, and I confess, that I enjoy being part of that scenario. So, once again, I'm not complaining, but it seems as though there is never enough time. Anyway, enough about my woes. This promises to be a great day over all, and each day brings me closer to being able to ride my bike and do all of those things that I love to do outdoors. That's one of the best things here in GH, being able to get outdoors and walk with Sugar around Central Park and down to the river walk. For that, there is always time. Oh well, Mary tells me the kettle is hot. Tea time.
