No new toilet. Seems as though to replace it would likely lead to a new floor, so we had the plumber repair the old toilet. It is now as good as new and the floor will wait for a time when we really need a new floor. Meanwhile, we will keep the old toilet in place. I went to all of my doctor's appointments on Thursday. Then I went to the Y, but the pool was filled with school children, so I didn't go in. There was simply no place to swim today. Instead, we got a new chair for Mary's office and that will have to do for now. Tonight, we are going to the library for a movie called "Up From the Bottoms" as part of Black History Month. It is an award winning movie about the struggles and triumphs of African Americans as they migrated from the old south to the more prosperous north. The movie will narrated by Cicely Tyson as Stevie Wonder and Miles Davis supply the music. There is a Q & A session after the movie. I don't know why, but the city of GH or Ottawa County provide many of these types of activities. To paraphrase Mr. Horse, "Well sir, we like it." Tomorrow, I have no appointments scheduled and none for several weeks to come. I like it! All I have scheduled is some assistance to help Mary do her work. That's all I'll close by using my new catch phrase, "Tea time."
