Talk about getting a head start. It is 12:25 AM on Tuesday, and I just couldn't wait to get to bed any longer. I sat through the cleanup following the crash by Juan Pablo Montoya into the truck that was drying the track, and I just couldn't last any longer. It is also election day now in Michigan. Doesn't have all that much meaning to me, since I don't usually vote in primaries, but it will be interesting to see who garners the most votes. It will also be interesting to see who wins the 500, but I think that that doesn't really matter at this time in the morning. On Monday morning, Mary and I dropped Sugar off at the kennel where she will be staying when we are out of town later in March, just to get her used to the idea. She looked so sad when we left, that I hope she doesn't feel abandoned. It felt similar to when we dropped off Adam at his first year of college all those years ago, except that Adam probably didn't feel abandoned, just relieved. I guess that it was harder on me than it was for Sugar, but I have separation anxiety. I hope she forgives me. Mary too felt it, she just wouldn't say so I think. It is weird to have Sugar out of the house. She is really a part of the family, and Adam and Steph are right, we spoil Sugar way too much. We had to take her breakfast food and her dinner food to the kennel. All of that for just this one night. Fortunately, we get her back on Tuesday after 11:00 AM, so we can all feel better together. Otherwise, not much is happening. Mary thinks I should go to the meeting at the Community Center about the proposed GH auto race, but I think I already did the first one, and this is just more of the same. Oh well, bed time so that I can arise for, you guessed it, Tea Time.
