Well, you have probably noticed that it is the day after Valentine's Day.  For those of you for whom it matters, you are are feeling great because you remembered, or really lousy because you didn't.  As the President said yesterday, "GO BIG!"  if you need to reduce your anxiety about make amends to that special someone.  We got our new shades yesterday.  Not only do they look great, they work even better.  The salesman/installer did a great job, after he arrived right on time.  We could not have asked for more.

I resolved the sound problem with the television.  I took it back to the store, where after much discussion, it was determined that if they sent it in for repairs, it would come back sounding the same.  The difference would be three weeks of no television.  So, I asked the manager what I could do and he offered to sell me a sound bar.  I explained that I wasn't thrilled with having to buy something to correct what was a manufactured shortcoming, (I cleaned it up for this blog), he offered to sell me the sound bar for one-half off of the $99.00 price. I made an executive decision and took him up on the offer.  I couldn't be happier.  The bar works with a remote, has good sound and even has an iPod dock.  Now, if I ever get an iPod, I'm set to go.  What a great solution.  Otherwise, it is tea time.
