Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just past 1:30 a.m. in "The City."
Yes my loyal readers, you got that right, 1:30 a.m. I sat up reading until a short time ago and then I sat down here to blog. I'll follow the KISS formula for this one.
Current temperature, 54°, feels like 52°. Clear skies and an overnight low of 45° before tomorrow's high-temperature of 64° under cloudy skies. It looks like rain will move in here late tomorrow night and into Friday.
The sun will rise today @ 6:10 p.m. and set later @ 9:13 p.m.
Baseball news. Cubs win, Red Sox Win, Tigers win, and the Caps win Tomorrow, the Cubs play @ 1:35 p.m. EDT. Red Sox play @ 7:10 p.m. Tigers play at 1:10 p.m. The Caps play @ 6:35 p.m.
Ginger went to her doctor yesterday and she has a small fatty-tumor on her side. It should be removed, but her doctor doesn't think it is a serious problem. She also needs to have her teeth cleaned, something that seems to plague small dogs, That cleaning will require her to be anesthetized for the procedure, so we'll have her tumor removed at the same time. STWD wanted to go along, but when we returned, she knew she had dodged a bullet.
I completed two crossword puzzles and did some cleaning along with making more of my world famous vegan Italian meatballs. I noticed when I was downstairs to empty the dishwasher earlier that Mary had made some vegan bacon, but her plans for vegan BLTs later today was thwarted by the mold on the bread. Plan "B" is now in order.
Late yesterday afternoon, we walked over to JWs for a pitcher of adult beverages and some French fries. This was our first out of the house meal in nearly 15 months. It felt strange.
Earlier, I finished a pulp novel and I can now move on to that more serious novel. I just had to read some junk fiction as a change of pace.
Later today, we'll be doing some gardening and some light indoor chores. That's all folks! Ciao.
