Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just past 10:00 p.m. in "The City."

The weather here in GH and across the Tri-Cities area today was outstanding. I was able to accompany our fur-children outside around 12:00 p.m. for their post-brunch visit without a coat. I love the weather in Michigan when it isn't falling in the form of snow. I don't mind the rain, because they water the vast gardens of the Palatial Estate. Actually, I don't even mind the snow anymore, because we have a service to remove that. I just don't like being unable to easily go walkabout. Of course, that is also true of the Covid-19 pandemic conditions too.

We have a current temperature of 54° that feels like 51° under partly-cloudy skies with a wind out of the south @ 10 mph.

The NWS has provided more details of that  Small Craft Advisory that went into effect @ 7:00 p.m. tonight and which will continue until 4:00 p.m. Thursday. Wind speeds of 15 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots will produce waves  from 4 to 7 feet in height.

Today, our high-temperature reached the lower 60s and our low tonight will drop to only 48°, before we rebound to tomorrow's high of 55° with showers in the a.m. Those showers come with a 44% probability. Why not 40% or 50%? I dunno.

The sun will rise tomorrow @ 7:06 a.m. and it will set later tomorrow evening @ 6:44 p.m.

At any rate, we accomplished our indoor chores and I got more paint on my canvas. It is nearly done, and if I am so inclined, I'll take a picture and include that in a future blog. I really like this painting.

That terrific weather prompted Mary, myself, and our fur-children to take a road-trip to North Beach Park to take some pix and go walkabout. I caused us to be overdressed, reasoning that the temperature on the lakeshore would be cooler. I was wrong, it wasn't. However, I did get some great pix, so the trip was definitely worth our time.

Looking northeast across Lake Michigan from North Beach Park.

Mostly a west view that shows that the shoreline is still ice encrusted.

This picture was taken looking south towards GH and it shows our inner and outer lighthouses.

I shot more of the shoreline with this one.

Mary and Ginger walked up these steps. Sugar and I just watched.

I like to use trees and man-made frames for some shots.

The beach was severely eroded over the winter, so this pic doesn't show the steep drop-off.

I just like the way the dunes rise up from the shoreline to meet the sky.

I've been working on Mary's potting bench in the man-cave. Here it is in its home on our deck.

In our vast gardens, the daffodils are starting to poke through just as they are near our deck.

I started a new novel, but I didn't like it so it is in the to be returned pile. Instead, I have chosen another book by an author whose books I like and which will be a quick read. So many books, so little time.

Tomorrow, we have to get up early to take Sugar for her surgery @ 8:00 a.m. She cannot have anything to eat from now until tomorrow afternoon.

That's enough for one day. Ciao.
