Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just past 9 :00 p.m. in "The City", where the current temperature is 45 ° under cloudy skies, but it feels more like 39° with a wind out of the north @ 10 mph.

Our current barometric pressure, according to the forecast from the NWS, is 29.97" of Hg and falling, while my own DTWS is showing 29.36 of Hg and rising. Tonight, the low temperaqture forecast calls for 36° which will be accompanied by overnight showers with anywhere from a 57% @ 10:00 p.m., increasing to a 92% chance by 1:00 a.m.

Not surprisingly, the NWS is once again forecasting a Gale Warning on Lake Michigan from St. Joseph to Pentwater, beginning @ 5:00 a.m. tomorrow and lasting until 5:00 a.m. Friday. 35 knot winds will propel waves from two to five feet in height with a chance for waves over six feet being a real possibility.

Tomorrow, the high-temperature will reach 47° under cloudy skies with strong winds. The low will drop to a chilly 26°. The sun will rise @ 7:53 a.m. and set tomorrow evening @ 7:54 p.m.

Well, another St. Patrick's Day has come and is nearly over.. However, the Luck of the Irish was with us today, as we both got our second Covid-19 vaccinations and so far, knock on wood, the side-effects have not been too severe.

Since we were out, I took along my Olympus DSLR camera and we visited the local environs and I got some shots of things that are different than my usual subjects on the East Side of GH.

Not a barn, but a garage in need of painting.

Once again, I was going for the reflections of the trees in the water.

Sorry Adam, but this Jeep™ CJ is slowly decaying.

I was trying a different camera setting. The Olympus 4:3 DSLR cameras can take multiple shots in succession and then blend them into one final image. This swan was not on Swan Lake, bt in this channel of the Grand River.

Just a boat awaiting spring.

We came home and finished The Last Days of John Lennon, by James Patterson. John Lennon was murdered on December 8, 1980, in front of the apartment he shared with is wife Yoko Ono.

We have always had a gun problem in this country. You know, the British might come back, so we have to arm our citizenry to the teeth and accept tens of thousands of deaths each year, because as one of our politicians noted after the massacre a few years  back in Las Vegas, " That's the price you pay for living in a free country." I'm sorry folks, but that price is too high. I'll take my unarmed chances against the British, who are not coming. Sorry about the editorial.

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with another dinner of Reuben sandwiches and some Guinness beer. Well, I had the Guinness™, while Mary had a Natural Light™. What would her Uncle Paddy have said?

I did find time early this morning to get in some harmonica practice. Tomorrow, I hope to get to the painting I missed today. We never got to those crossword puzzles either, but I did make some vegan Italian burgers. I think that's enough for one blog. Ciao.
