We made it through another windy day yesterday and into today, when our high-temperature is forecast by that NWS to reach 48° under sunny-skies with an overnight low-temperature of 35°. Tomorrow's high will be a sultry 54° under mostly-sunny skies. We may even see 60° on Tuesday, but that's when the rains come in and last until Saturday, March 29, as the daytime temperatures stay mostly in the 50s with an occasional drop into the upper 40s.We're almost there!
I wore the "Win One for the Nun!" shirt that Stephany sent to me two years ago, at the same time she sent one to Mary, the actual Loyola Chicago grad. The Nun in that phrase, "Win One for the Nun!", is Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, better known as Sister Jean, who turned 101 years of age this year! I like to think that the Ramblers of Loyola defeated the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech, 71 - 60, because the Ramblers have Sister Jean on their side with all that entails, and a more traditional fight song of their own. You decide.

If you are interested, the 21 - 11 Buckeyes of The Ohio State University, were dropped by the 18 - 10 Golden Eagles of Oral Roberts University in yesterday's NCAA "March Madness action, 75 - 72.
I completed a single crossword puzzle yesterday, did some reading, made some vegan Italian meatballs, and added some paint to the canvases on my easel. Oh, I changed some outside hose washers too, but that was not a very difficult task.
Mary used some of my vegan Italian meatballs in our dinner last night along with trying her hand at making her first ever focaccia bread from scratch. I think her first attempt was just great, but as is often the case, she was critical of her efforts and vows to try again for a better result.
Today, is indoor chore day and also time to do some additional vegan cooking, some painting, some music playing, and some reading. Perhaps too much on my agenda, but that's what makes the days in self-imposed isolation, more bearable.
The sun will rise today @ 7:47 a.m. and set this evening @ 7:57 p.m. Ciao.
