For those of you who forgot, the clocks were pushed ahead earlier this morning due to Daylight Savings Time, which went into effect @ 2:00 a.m. or 3:00 a.m. this morning. At any rate, the daylight hours will now begin later in the morning, but extend later into the evening. Of course, since most of us do not work in agriculture, there is little point to the whole process.
We have a current temperature of 38° that feels more like 33°, with a west wind blowing @ 6 mph. That wind will usher in yet another Small Craft Advisory on the shores of Lake Michigan, when winds of 30 knots will propel waves from three to five feet in height beginning @ 8:00 a.m. this morning and continuing until 8:00 p.m. this evening.
The daytime high will reach 47° under skies that will alternate between sunny and cloudy. Tonight's low will drop to a decidedly more chilly 23°. In between the sunrise @ 7:58 a.m. and before sunset @ 7:50 p.m., it should be a pleasant day to get out and enjoy your little corner of the world with your mask on as you stay at least six feet from others.
Our second dose of the vaccine is scheduled for Wednesday March 17, 2021, St. Patrick's Day.
We accomplished the indoor chores, read many more chapters in The Last Days of John Lennon, from which we learned some new facts about Lennon and his contemporaries and also about the Magical Mystery Tour that was the life of John Lennon.
I took time to make more vegan Italian meatballs and also work the Friday crossword puzzle from the Grand Haven Tribune. Otherwise, not much was happening. Ciao.
