We show a current temperature of 33° under clear skies that feels like 27° with a wind out of the east @ 8 mph. The NWS is showing a current barometric pressure of 30.40" of Hg and steady, while my DTWS is showing 29.80" of Hg and rising. Generally, those readings are an indication of fair weather, that is until Tuesday's 49% chance for showers later in the day and into the evening. However, the high temperature on Tuesday is forecast to reach a very tropical 63°!
Speaking of high temperatures, today's high is forecast to reach 55° under mostly sunny skies. However as of this writing, we have no current advisories, watches, warnings, nor alerts in effect @ this time. The sun will rise today @ 7:46 a.m. and set later this evening @ 7:58 p.m.
Not much was happening yesterday. We enjoyed the chance to get into the vast gardens and do some spring cleanup on what was the first day of spring. Symmetry, catch it!' Our fur-children wanted to be outside with us, but the last time they were out when we were out, STWD inadvertently tried to end my earthly existence when I bobbed and she weaved and down I went. Fortunately, the only thing harmed was my pride.
We made an executive decision to pull out the lavender that was nice many years ago, but which has become both an eyesore and an impediment to the growth of other things in the vast gardens.
Otherwise, we did the indoor chores, and Mary did some cleanup up of the winter residue while I raked some of the leaves off of the bushes. We may have lost a rose bush over the winter, but it will take a few warm days to decide.
Today, is a day to recuperate and do some painting, some puzzle solving, some reading, and some kitchen activities. Like our old neighbor Marshall, I recognize that there will be another day, so this is a day devoted to painting, puzzle solving, and rest. While the mind may be willing, the flesh starts to betray.
I think that's enough for one day. Ciao.
