Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just passing 12:30 a.m. in "The City." We had a beautiful day yesterday, the temperature reached the lower 50s, while today, we won't get past 42°. We'll have to wait until next Wednesday to once again reach the 50° mark. However, that comes with a 60% chance of showers. I can finally say, "That's spring in MI."
Yesterday, I took Sugar the Weather Dog for her morning walk. Not a long one, because we were running a bit behind schedule for our appointment at the car dealer. We got there just in time. Oil changed, wiper blades replaced, and all systems checked and refilled. We're good to go for another 3,500 miles.
Afterwards,we stopped at the cook's store in Holland to pick up some parchment paper and a spiral vegetable slicer. Then we made the mistake of going to the home and garden show in Holland. It was mostly home, and very little garden. But, we registered for a giveaway for a fancy food mixer.
We came back to GH, stopped at the favorite watering hole and then home. A light dinner of Mary's famous Swiss cheese and sauerkraut sandwiches with a side of potato chips and then upstairs to the media room to watch Night at the Museum 3. We enjoyed. However, then when I sat down at my computer, I discovered that it had been hijacked by some malware and I'd lost all the sound output. A call to our IT person in CA, a bit of computer wizardry, and I was back up and running. She suggested that I get an anti spyware program for my computer and Mary's too. I downloaded that and it picked up some things that I didn't know I had inadvertently downloaded. All better now, and I am protected.
Today, a trip to the library for the monthly Irish Jam session at 1:00 p.m. That's always fun. I missed the music and the people the last two months while we were out of town.
Other than that, the day should be uneventful. The sun will rise at 7:47 a.m. and set at 7:58 p.m. on what promises to be a nice day. Ciao
