Good evening GH. It is just past 11:30 p.m. in"The City." A current temperature of 28° belies the beautiful day we had. While the temperature remained on the cool side, the lack of wind made it a pleasant day for walking. Tomorrow we'll see 40° and Tuesday we expect 47° under partly cloudy skies. Looks good to me.

Sunday, Sugar the Weather Dog and I took the morning walk while Mary stayed behind to work on the laundry that had been piling up. I think  that Sugar and I got the better end of the deal. Later Mary and I walked downtown to enjoy the still beautiful day. While Florida is nice, it's better to be home here in GH.

I spent the afternoon in the man-cave cutting out the pieces for my sawhorses. It felt great to have a circular saw in my hands again. I loved the smell of the freshly cut wood. Tomorrow, I'll assemble the sawhorses and then I can get to work on that cold frame. Mary and I will have to get some replacements for the two by fours I used to make the horses, but that's okay, because I will need the horses for other projects. I won't be returning to full time woodworking, but on occasion, it will be fun. I have too many hobbies to spend excessive time on any one. The girls and I need to play together, I still have gardening to do, and the general maintenance around the palatial estate keeps me very busy.

Tomorrow, I will spend more time reading, possibly baking, and working on those horses. Naturally. Sugar the Weather Dog, Mary and I will take the morning walk. Now that we can walk in any direction, it feels good just to get out.

In the first trainspotting of the evening. I watched the southbound train go by just before 11:00 p.m. The regular contingent of EMD GP 38 locomotives went by towing a lone box car, 17 covered hopper cars, and nine of those dreaded black tank cars followed by three additional covered hopper cars.

Being transplanted Michiganders, Mary and I just had to watch as MI State dispatched VA this afternoon. A well played game, and State's point guard was on fire, seemingly dropping three point shots at will.

The sun will rise tomorrow at 7:44 a.m. and set at 8:00 p.m. Ciao.
