Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 3:30 a.m. in "The City." A current temperature of 31° belies that fact that it feels like 23°, albeit w/o precipitation. We are expecting a high temperature of 37° today, and Saturday will be similar. No precipitation and nothing to shovel. What's not to like? The sun will be rising at 7:58 a.m. today before setting at 5:09 p.m.
I had a quiet day yesterday. The time seemed to get away from me though. I did the crossword after walking with Sugar the Weather Dog and Mary. Mary stopped off at the library to pick up some books, but Sugar was more intent on walking that worrying, so we kept on our rounds. Sometimes, Sugar get's very upset when one of her humans get's "Sucked up" by that big building with books in it.
I thought I was done with leaf raking, but I needed to do more when I got home. There is only that down side to melting the snow. Another day, another bag filled. Then I went to the man-cave to continue the painting of the ornaments. I still have a few sessions to go as the various colors dry. I did more highlighting yesterday as Mary worked on another project, and I am now 90% complete. Then it was time to return some things to the big-box hardware/home center in Muskegon and to stop once again at the big-box everything store for yet another return and to pick up some things that we didn't get the other day. This experience at that store was a total turn-around from the previous visit.
Then home for a visit to the favorite watering home, followed by a nap in the media room. If I could have stayed in yesterday afternoon/evening, I would have, but sometimes you just have to go out. One more out this weekend, possibly to the annual Jingle Bells Parade Saturday evening, and we should be done.
Apparently I missed any trainspotting and that's okay with me. Ciao.
