Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 2:00 a.m. in "The City", where the current temperature is 31°, but it feels like 29°. We'll see a high later today, after the sun rises at 8:13 a.m., of 36° under partly cloudy skies. As the week unfolds, the temperatures will rise, but so will the chance of rain or rain/snow. Tuesday the forecast calls for a high of 44°, but there is also a forecast of a 70% chance of rain showers. That's okay with me, because I don't have to shovel rain.

Saturday was a great day. We made it to the eye doctor where Mary got good news. While her vision is not perfect, and that in itself isn't news, the other issue is resolving and that is good news. Mary got to tour the big house in downtown GH in the early afternoon, and she described it as incredible, huge, gorgeous, etc.

While she was at the open house, I was at the monthly Irish Jam session. We had a good time, and that's what matters. Mary came home from her tour, and continued her work. In addition, she found time to whip up a nice stir fry for lunch. We closed the day with a trip to the Post to see Sally and the regular cast of people. Everyone there is so friendly. We didn't stay for Karaoke, but that's because the weather was changing and we had to walk home. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Today, I plan to get to that work in the man-cave, or not. There is a crossword to be solved, a novel to be read, and football to watch, not to mention the morning walk with Sugar the Weather Dog. Mary will once again have to work.

Sometime in the afternoon, Sugar and I will settle in for a long winter's nap. I suppose that for Sugar, a nap isn't an unusual activity. I won't take time to play with the girls today, because I did that extended session on Saturday afternoon.

That looks like enough for one day's activities. The sun will set at 5:13 p.m. So I'll be saying Ciao, right after I mention, as the town crier in Bermuda used to say, in Bermuda, it's 2:00 a.m. in GH and all is well.
