Good morning GH. It is just past 7:30 a.m. in "The City." Our current temperature of 45° is as high as we will get today. Plus, we will have light rain beginning this morning after 8:00 a.m. Right now, there is no precipitation visible outside the Weather Window.

Yesterday was a good day. I finished part of the crossword that Sugar the Weather Dog, Mary, and I picked up during our morning sojourn. Sugar and I had to detour away from downtown GH, because there were too many people and other dogs on Washington. She and I met Mary at the back entrance to the bread store, having already stopped to pick up the newspaper. We'll repeat the  above procedure again today, sans the bread pick up.

Mary and I both worked upstairs yesterday after the laundry was done. I am making progress, and working upstairs has made the process go more smoothly, with ready access to Mary's guidance. Still, to paraphrase the late, great, Minnie Pearl, it is a booger. We did go out for a light dinner and a stop at the Post.

I hope to finish the work this morning and then get it to Mary for her final polishing. Then, we are free for another day or so. I still want to go to the movies, but I can just as easily stay home. That's always the easiest, and a weekend is not the best time to go to a theater, especially post holiday and during the kid's winter break. I may just peruse the weekend Grand Haven Tribune, do the crossword, and then read my latest book to the end. I have another on the shelf that is awaiting my attention.

Other than that, I have no plans. I'll be sure to watch the sun rise at 8:15 a.m. and the sunset at 5:15 p.m., and then call it a day. Somewhere in between, I'll be assisting Mary in her efforts. Ciao.
