Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just before 3:00 a.m. in "The City", where the current temperature is 32°, but it feels like 24°. Actually, that's an improvement on earlier yesterday morning and last evening, when the wind was blowing so hard that Sugar the Weather Dog's ears were pinned back as she struggled to make her way as we walked west. On the way back, Sugar recognized the lady who drives the Jeep vehicle and delivers the newspaper,  and who also gives Sugar biscuit treats now and then. Pavlov was right.

Elsewhere in the world, I heard two trains, but didn't see them.

I didn't get to play with the girls because I was doing laundry. So I read the newspaper and my novel instead. I also worked the crossword puzzle.

We made it to the bank to pick up some quarters and to the post office to drop off a package. Then we stopped at the Post to see Sally.

Today is that walk with Sugar to her doctor. I can walk her over, but she may be a bit woozy for the walk back, so Mary will be picking us up. That's fine with me. Sugar would give it the old college try, but I worry too much about her to let her do that.

That looks like my day in a nutshell. Mary has work to do, and I have noting to do. I like it. However, Mary did print out her next project, so I may be peripherally involved in that today. That depends on whether Mary has to catch up on some other work she has to do. If she does, I'm safe.

The sun will still rise at 8:09 a.m. and set at  5::11 p.m. Ciao.
