Good morning GH. It is just after sunrise in "The City." Since the days are getting shorter, the sun rose at 7:01 and will set this evening at 8:29. We are expecting a 50% chance of T-storms this morning. Sugar the Weather Dog had to be tricked into going out yesterday just before the torrential rains that hit our fair city. Today if she senses another disturbance in the force, she will simply make herself scarce. Currently the view out the Weather Window is gray and cloudy. Skies are expected to clear by noon.

Since I have what I expect to be my last P/T appointment this morning at 11:00 a.m. I may have to wait until I get closer to that time before making a transportation decision. I'd prefer to ride my bike, but I may walk to take advantage of the clearing skies that should happen after I am done. Sugar and I may invite Mary along on our earlier walk. Mary and I had planned to walk to the stores in east town this morning, but the weather forecast makes that an iffy idea as of now.

I did hear the southbound train last night around midnight, but, I didn't get up. So all I have to go on is years of trainspotting experience to say that it was long and heavily laden. Oh, that horn happy engineer was at the throttles of the GH express.

In sports, not much was happening. The boys in blue had the day off following their weekend sweep of the Orioles. The Tigers also had the day off. My beloved  Red Sox narrowly defeated the Blue Jays 4 -3 for a rare victory. The Caps fell to the South Bend Rail Cats, 1 - 3.

I am now officially out of library books. I finished one yesterday. Now I'll have to await the arrival of some requests that I have in at the library. I returned all my books without Sugar, as she was not inclined to leave the house.I picked up the newspaper and some bread while I was out. I may have to visit the library to see what's on the new arrivals shelf. I am in a pulp fiction phase right now.

Once I am done at that P/T appointment, I'll spend some time with the girls. I had to be quiet yesterday because Mary was on deadline for her latest project. I sat down to help at about 5:00 p.m. and we finished around 10:00 p.m. That was a long one.

Otherwise, the boss owes me payment for my efforts. We missed the Mexican specials that are served on Mondays at the best kept secret in GH. Today the special at our favorite watering hole is Chimichangas, but that is a fact, not a choice.

So that looks like enough for yesterday and today. Ciao.
