Good early morning GH. At just past 2:30 AM in "The City," the current temperature is 54 degrees as we anticipate a high of 55 and rain. Getting Sugar the Weather Dog to go for a walk with me may be difficult. It may well be a short walk. Sunrise is at 7:27 AM under rainy skies.

Tuesday was a slow day. Mary worked some and I read some and we waited for the electricians to finish their work. They are not yet done. We took time to vote for the millage to help rebuild the aging infrastructure in our city. The millage passed. Onward to the future. Mary raked some leaves while I watched in an effort to get used to not using my right arm and to preserve my shoulder before surgery. Since the electricians were working, Mary couldn't get to her work in the afternoon.

Today the electricians will return to finish. I think I've had enough of people doing work on the house for a while, it just takes up too much of our time and disrupts too much of our regular activities. There are still a few things in need of doing. Does it ever end?

In addition, we plan to go over to Spring Lake to get some fabric for table napkins. I wonder if I can learn to do that type of sewing? I am willing to try as it shouldn't be beyond me, I hope. We may not get there since Mary is behind on her work. Sugar and I will go for a walk or two and then the day will be complete. Mary has a business trip later this week, while Sugar and I stay home. Somehow Sugar and I will survive.

Proof positive that if you stay up late enough or get up early enough that you will generally see a train go by. I just did at 3:20 AM.

That's about it for Tuesday and today. Ciao
