Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 11:00p.m.in "The City."

Let's try to KISS this blog.

We have a current temperature of 63° under clear skies. Tomorrow's high is forecast to reach 67° under sunny skies. The winds will be strong and there is a Red Flag Warning in effect for Ottawa, County. That means that with the low humidity, there is a chance that wildfires could spread. Hopefully, not here at the PE. The sun will rise tomorrow @ 6:38 a.m. and st later @ 8:46 p.m.

The NL Central leading 16 - 10 Cubs have pulled into a .5 game lead over the losing 17 - 12 Pirates, with a hard-fought win over the 15 - 15 Colorado Rockies. Kris Bryant was brilliant at the plate and in the field as the Cubs won. 3 - 2. The Cubs and the Rockies play again tomorrow night @ 8:05 p.m. EDT.

The 11 - 16 Tigers lost another game to the 13 - 14 Rays by a score of 2 - 3. That loss finds the Tigers still in 2nd place in the AL Central, five games behind the Indians. The Tigers try to win one in Detroit tomorrow night against those same Rays @ 7:10 p.m. EDT.

My beloved AL East leading, 21 - 7 Red Sox handily defeated the 7- 24 KC Royals, 10 - 6. That win gives the Sox a 2.5 game lead over the Yankees in the AL East. The Sox and the Royals play again tomorrow night @ 7:10 p.m. EDT.

The Caps had the night off before they head to Peoria, IL to meet the Chies @ 7:30 p.m. tomorrow night.

I spotted two train runs yesterday. I say runs, because the early southbound run was only two locomotives, #s 2019 and 2025 "Deadheading" at a high rate of speed.

I was heading for my appointment at the barbershop when I spotted those same locomotives heading north @ 11:55 a.m. In tow were four CHCs, Four DBTCs, one GTC, and five DWTCs.

We finished up that index and sent it on its way yesterday afternoon. Now, Mary has to get right to work on the next index that is due in eight days. I must continue my highlighting activities after I return from the orthopedist and the library. Ciao.
