Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 9:30 p.m. in "The City."
Let's keep this one short and sweet.
We have a current temperature of 38° under clear skies. Tomorrow, the NWS is forecasting a high of 63° under sunny skies. By Tuesday, the forecast is calling for 69°, also under sunny skies. We will have a few days in the 50s, but it looks like spring has finally arrived. The sun will rise tomorrow @ 6:39 a.m. and set later @ 8:48 p.m.
To paraphrase the artist currently known as Meatloaf, three out of four ain't bad.
The 15 - 0 Cubs took another one from the 16 - 13 Brewers, 2 - 0. That win finds the Boys in Blue .5 games behind the National League Central Division leading Pirates. The Cubs welcome the Rockies tomorrow night @ 8:05 p.m. EDT
The 11 - 15 Tigers dropped another one to an inferior 8 - 20 Orioles squad, 3 - 5. That loss still finds the Tigers in 2nd place in a very weak American League Central Division, that is being led by the 14 - 12 Indians. The Tigers come home tomorrow night to face the Tampa Bay Rays @ 7:10 p.m. EDT.
My beloved 20 - 7 Red Sox are the first team to notch 20 victories this year and that finds them in 1st place in the American League East Division, 2.5 games ahead of the Yankees. The Sox meet the 7 - 20 Royals tomorrow night in Fenway @ 7:10 p.m. EDT.
The 14 - 9 Caps also had a good day today, as they edged the MWL East leading Lansing Lugnuts, 3 - 2 to pull within 1.5 games of the Lugnuts. The Caps are off until Tuesday when they travel to Peoria to battle the Chiefs @ 7:30 p.m. EDT.
Today was a great day. We took a nice walk with the fur-children, after which I read some and then made some vegan Italian faux meatballs. They turned our great. Mary finished working and we fed the fur-children and set out to walk to our favorite watering hole. We ended up with some adult libations and a basket of crinkly fries. I think that Mary was being nice to me and that's fine.
We walked home and I came up to watch some car shows and a Hallmark™ movie. Mary is downstairs, probably watching the X-Files.
Tomorrow, the index will get finished, we'll do a final edit, and then send it on its way. Mary has to get right to work on the next index which is due the 8th. That means that I have to step up my highlighting game. Ciao.
