Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation, and across the world. It is just before 5:00 a.m. in "The City."

According to the NWS, the current temperature is 55° under partly cloudy skies. My DTWS shows 57º on both the front porch and on the deck. Also according to the NWS, light winds of 5 mph make it feel like 54°. Today's high temperature is forecast to be 71º under partly cloudy skies with a relative humidity index of 63% and less than a 10% chance for precipitation. That 71º mark is about normal for this time of year.

However, just to be sure that we don't get too comfortable, Tuesday's high is forecast from the NWS calls for the high temperature to be 89º with the possibility of a chance for T-storms @ 40% in the evening and winds gusting to 30 mph! Of course, we won't have any A/C by then. Time to go for a long ride in an air-conditioned car. But where?

According to my DTWS, the barometric pressure is 29.51" and rising, while the NWS is reporting 30.11", and also rising. Generally, those readings indicate fair weather.

The sun will rise this morning @ 6:05 a.m. and it will set later @ 9:22 p.m.

We enjoyed listening to The Flowerland Show on the radio yesterday morning. Even though we already had plans to do some gardening, it is a good way to gain motivation.

We got nearly all of the plantings accomplished. and everything got well watered. The vast gardens of the Palatial Estate look great! We re still awaiting the arrival of the final pot for Mary's planned floral display on the front porch of the manse.

We worked another crossword, did some indoor chores, ineffectually scolded the fur-children for barking at anything that moved, and watched more Outlander episodes too.

We collectively made a batch of Coleslaw from an old family recipe that replicates one that Grandma used to make. We just don't know whose Grandma. In any event, it's is a keeper. We had some of that Coleslaw for dinner along with vegan Italian sausages.

Today, our plans call for reading and more Outlander. The fur-children want to go walkabout, but that is not very likely. Ciao.
