Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation, and across the world. It is just after 3:00 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is 64° under clear skies. My DTWS shows 65º on both the front porch and on the deck. Oddly, even though winds out of the SSW are blowing @ 20 mph, it only feels like 62°. Today's high temperature is forecast to be 74º under partly-cloudy skies with a relative humidity index of 71% with only a 10% chance for precipitation.

According to my DTWS, the barometric pressure is 29.33" and falling, while the NWS is reporting 29.92", also falling. Generally, those readings indicate changeable weather.

The sun rose this morning @ 6:07 a.m. and it will set later @ 9:19 p.m. Another of those meteorological oddities, the sunrise time is the same as yesterday, but the sunset time is one-minute later to go with those 20 mph winds and only a two-degree drop in the fell of the temperature.

The Beach Hazard Statement with high wave action, strong currents, and dangerous swimming conditions expected. Piers will likely become swamped by waves in Mason, Oceana, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties. Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water and high waves can sweep people off piers. is still in effect until 2:00 p.m. today. The worst of the swimming conditions will be around daybreak today. Swimmers should remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions and should not venture out on pie

The Small Craft Advisory continues in effect for those same hours. Waves will build from 3 to 6 feet from Holland to Manistee. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. The largest waves will occur towards daybreak today.

Mary will continue to suffer from her allergies, as the level of tree pollen will still be high today and tomorrow.

We got those indoor chores done yesterday along with some necessary spot-cleaning of the carpeting due to STWD's activities. Fortunately, her appointment at the veterinarian went well and she should be much better now.

I set an appointment with the A/C service company for Friday afternoon, the earlies that they had available. The recent 91º day put them behind. They do require their service personnel to wear masks.

We collectively finished the crossword puzzle from the weekend edition of the Grand Haven Tribune yesterday. We required no outside help.

We took the fur-children for a walk in the park yesterday after Mary returned with STWD from the veterinarian.

We have a dentist's appointment this afternoon. Our dentist is observing the mandates for control of the Covid-19 virus, including our wearing of masks except when in the dentist's chair. The waiting room is off-limits and each of us will have to wait in the car for our turn.

Today, we should get some planting done. I had to water the flowers still in their trays due to their being too dry.

Otherwise, not much is planned for today. Ciao.
