Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation, and across the world. It is just after 5:30 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is 64° under clear skies. My DTWS shows 65º on both the front porch and on the deck. Oddly, even, according to the NWS in GR, is 60º though winds out of the SSW blowing @ 12 mph, make it feel like 58°. Today's high temperature is forecast by the NWS to be 70º under partly-cloudy skies with a relative humidity index of 76% with a 30% chance for precipitation later this morning.

According to my DTWS, the barometric pressure is 29.15" and falling, while the NWS is reporting 29.74", also falling. Generally, those readings indicate changeable weather.

The sun will rise this morning @ 6:07 a.m. and it will set later @ 9:19 p.m., the same as yesterday.

There are no statements, alerts, watches, nor warnings at this time.

I do know from STWD's presence in the upstairs bedroom last night that we had quite a bit of lightning and thunder. I think we had lots of rain too. That means that the only thing I'll have to water are the hanging baskets on the front porch of the manse.

Yesterday was busy, at least by our standards. We traveled to Holland for a dental appointment during which everything went well. The dentist and his assistants were dressed in full Covid-19 battle gear that included: Facemasks, face shields, gowns, and gloves. They greeted you at the door, asked a lot of questions, and then let you in the door with no one else present.

Incidentally, the dentist says that he would not go to a restaurant and eat a meal. Plus, he thinks that all of the reopenings and protests will lead to a second wave of the pandemic.

I made some vegan pepperoni and some vegan Italian meatballs yesterday when we got back from the dentist and then not much else. Mary stayed upstairs to color and stay out of my way while I worked.

Otherwise, I am rereading a book that is like reading a book I've never read before.

We watched two, count them, two episodes of Outlander yesterday. Mary made pizza with some of my pepperoni diced for ease of application to a pizza. She didn't think it was one of her best pizzas, but I liked it.

Today, I'd like to get to some outdoor chores, like vacuuming out the green pantry. That's before we have to go to the grocery store to pick up our latest Fast Lane™ order and refill the gas tank of the green pantry. I'd also like to get to the man-cave for some staring at the walls. I like to do that sometimes. I should do some coloring too. Ciao.
