Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past   a.m. in "The City."

Yesterday was a lovely day, even nicer than last Sunday when Mary and I visited the Hemlock Crossing County Park for the presentation on wild turkeys. I finally managed to get the pictures to download and so I've included them below.

Hemlock Crossing is a gem among gems in our Ottawa County Park System

Sometimes the lack of leaves on the trees reveals a different kind of beauty

Yes, brooks really do babble

The tree in the background appeared to have been felled by beavers
I accomplished a lot yesterday. I moved the furniture from the front porch of the PE into the man-cave, hung the outdoor decorative Christmas decorations, discovered that the green bulb was still in the porch light from last year, and finished the chalkboard for the mudroom. All in all a busy and productive day.

Later in the afternoon, Mary was at an impasse in her work schedule so we took a drive to Coopersville to visit the store there that sells overstock grocery type items. We only got a few things, but the drive in the country was worth the trip in and of itself.

We stopped @ Stans in Spring Lake on the way home and then went to Papa Murphy's™ to get a take and bake pizza for dinner. I probably overdid it a bit yesterday, as I am still not 100% following my recent bout with the unknown bug. I'll be better as time progresses. I will be doing as little as possible today.

The current temperature is 48° under mostly cloudy skies. Today's high will reach 49° under partly cloudy skies with a 20% chance of precipitation. The temperatures will continue to slide into the lower 40s as the weekend approaches and the chance of precipitation will increase to 50% tomorrow. The sun will rise in about 50 minutes @ 7:56 a.m. and set @ 5:11 p.m. Ciao.
